Philosophy of Vienna Pre-k
* We recognize a child’s early experiences provide the foundation for future achievements.
* We provide a meaningful environment with a concrete, hands-on, manipulative approach. Children are encouraged to experience through their senses, play, and talk in order to develop and practice concepts, behaviors, and skills.
* We are responsive to children’s unique needs and abilities, which builds confidence and instills a love of learning.
* All activities are aligned with the Early Learning and Development Standards set by Illinois State Board of Education and a research-based curriculum called Creative Curriculum.
* We recognize the family as the first teacher and invite close communication and cooperation in every aspect of the child’s education and development.
* The program vows to serve families as well as the student by providing a variety of supports.
